Hey guys - I've been swamped with work lately (did I say that?!?) and haven't been ... (can't beleive I'm swamped with work ...) - sorry - ahem - yeah, .. haven't had a chance to put something new up in a little bit.
This was a piece I did for a pitch. They weren't necessarily looking for the look just yet, but needed visuals of something to go along with the story idea.
I rarely do watercolors - in general, paint hates me but it's mainly because I don't visit very often. I should also add that the colors were manipulated here and there after it was scanned in.

Say, Do you remember me by any chance? I used to draw you a lot of fanarts back in the day. My name is Heriberto. I'm still loving your art! And I hope you're doing well. I actually did send you a letter this last december (Since I moved to texas I thought It would be appropriate) to the Chris Moujaes company (and I did scan it and asked Chris to give it to you in case the letter didn't arrive)with a bunch of sketches of your characters. But I never knew if that got to you. I've always liked your work. and I still do.
Back then your art and kind words did inspire me to continue my own Venues. I gotta say I miss Fairview High, it was charming. Believe it or not, I still have the comic you sent me with a sketch. and I still value it a lot. I've been thinking of framing the sketch, but It feels kind of heartwrenching to tear the page off of it.
